The Fehrenbacher Hof coffee house (Portland, Oregon) opened in 2000 as a remembrance of Sigrid Clark. “The Hof” as it is referred to by the staff and regulars serves as another Clark neighborhood meeting venue giving each of us a place to meet, gather, discuss, and rant.
The Hof runs as a symbiotic companion to the Goose and provides ones nerves and emotions with food and beverage albeit generally earlier in the day.

Hidden away in Portland’s Southwest (SW) Goose Hollow Neighborhood, this cute coffee house is located directly next door to the Goose Hollow Inn, another iconic Portland establishment founded by former Mayor, Bud Clark.
The Fehrenbacher Hof coffee house in Portland is the cutest little house adorned with a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere. You can even sit on the porch for spring or summer months and feel the breeze and hear the sounds of the bustling city all around. If it is a little colder and you still want to sit on the cute porch and drink coffee in the fall or winter, there are heaters conveniently place above the tables and chairs that you can turn on from the inside to stay warm while you drink your coffee and gaze out into the rain.
The corned beef and avocado breakfast burrito is highly recommend by locals and tourists alike. Great with tea or coffee, this is the best way to start your day in SW PDX.
